The plate heat exchanger is made up of many stamped corrugated thin plates at a certain interval, sealed by gaskets and laminated and compacted by a frame and a compression screw. The four corner holes of the plates and gaskets form fluid distribution pipes and collection pipes. The sealing gasket separates the hot and cold fluids and makes them flow in the flow channels on both sides of each plate, and heat exchange through the plates. The advantages of plate heat exchangers are becoming more and more well-known. Many customers do not know how to do the precautions before installing the plate heat exchanger in the newly-built plate heat exchanger project. The installation of the plate heat exchanger needs to strictly follow the operating process, otherwise it will cause damage to the use and affect the heat exchange effect. So what are the precautions before installing the plate heat exchanger?
(1) The plate heat exchanger should be installed vertically. When hoisting, please pay attention to the center of gravity of the equipment and the hoisting holes. It can be lifted with the upper guide rod. It can also be suspended horizontally, and the installation site should have enough space for maintenance.
(2) Assemble the pipeline. Please check whether the heat exchanger is clamped to the specified clamp to the size range before piping. If not clamped, clamp to the specified size first. The heat exchanger is connected to the pipe with a short section for maintenance. Pressure gauges and thermometers should be installed at the inlet and outlet of cold and hot media.
(3) If the heat exchanger works above 100°C, the pipeline connection must have a thermal stress expansion absorption compensation device. Special circumstances allow the tilt device to be fixed.
(4) If sewage is used as the cooling medium or the waste heat of the recovered sewage or the medium contains granular solids, an appropriate type of automatic discharge filter or decontamination device should be installed upstream of the heat exchanger inlet to avoid clogging the plate heat exchanger . When the possible maximum pressure of the medium is greater than the maximum operating pressure of the equipment, a pressure reducing valve and a safety valve should be installed at the entrance of the equipment.
