Plate heat exchanger is a kind of heat exchanger formed by pressing thin metal plates into heat exchange plates with a certain corrugated shape, and then stacking them with frame plates and bolts. The working fluid of the heat exchanger flows through the narrow and tortuous channel formed between the two plates. The hot and cold fluids pass through the flow channel in turn, and there is an interlayer plate in the middle to separate the fluids and exchange heat through the plates. Plate heat exchanger is a heat exchange device with high heat transfer. It is commonly used in the range of soda water, oily water, water and oil. So what is the difference between a soda plate heat exchanger and a water-water plate heat exchanger?
(1) Plate heat exchanger plate angle
When we perform the selection calculation, we will select the corresponding plate angle according to different media. We generally choose large angles for water conditions. We generally choose a small angle for steam conditions.
(2) Heat exchanger plate groove depth
Part of the depth of the plate groove depends on the medium itself, and part of it depends on the calculation result (logarithmic temperature difference). For steam conditions, we usually choose a deeper groove depth.
(3) Plate type design of plate heat exchanger
Our company has two plate types: H series and HT series to deal with professional working conditions. The former is dedicated to water-water conditions (1℃ temperature difference), and the latter is dedicated to steam conditions (high temperature, high pressure).
