Plate Heat Exchanger Flow Arrangement

The plate heat exchanger flow refers to a set of parallel flow channels in the same flow direction of a medium in a plate heat exchanger. The flow path refers to a medium flow channel composed of two adjacent plates in a plate heat exchanger. In general, a number of flow passages are connected in parallel or in series to form different combinations of cold and hot medium passages.

The plate heat exchanger process combination should be calculated according to the heat transfer and fluid resistance, and determined under the requirements of the process conditions. The convective heat transfer coefficient in the cold and hot water flow channels should be equal or close, so as to obtain the best heat transfer effect. Because the heat transfer coefficient is equal when the convective heat transfer coefficient on both sides of the heat transfer surface is equal or close, although the flow rate between the plates of the plate heat exchanger is not equal, the average flow rate is still used in the calculation of heat transfer and fluid resistance.According to the calculation, since the "U"-shaped single-flow nozzle is fixed on the pressing plate, the disassembly and assembly is convenient.
