Plate Heat Exchanger Design Temperature
In the plate heat exchanger, only the outer plate of the heat transfer plate is exposed to the atmosphere, so the heat loss is negligible and no heat preservation measures are required. One of its features in operation and maintenance is that it is convenient to assemble and disassemble, and it may not even need to be completely disassembled. Only loosen the compression bolts to remove the plates, replace the gaskets and plates. This is especially important for materials that are susceptible to deposition in the heat exchange medium. It is used by a gasket between every two plates to prevent material leakage, so the total length of its sealing perimeter is very long, and preventing gasket leakage is an important part.
The temperature, pressure and chemical stability that a gasket can withstand is often the temperature and pressure at which it is used and the range of materials allowed. In addition, since the gap between the heat transfer surfaces is small, the heat transfer surface has irregularities, so that the pressure loss is larger than the conventional smooth pressure, and the plate heat exchanger is subjected to a lower working pressure.
The all-welded plate heat exchanger does not use any non-metallic sealing material,it can have high temperature and pressure resistance. It can be applied to working conditions of 300°C working temperature and 3.0Mpa pressure. The detachable plate heat exchanger has a normal working temperature of less than 150 ° C (related to the performance of the sealing material), and the pressure is less than 1.6 Mpa.
