The periphery of the plate and the corner holes are sealed with rubber gaskets. The frame is composed of a fixed pressing plate, a movable pressing plate, upper and lower guide rods and clamping bolts. The gasket of the plate heat exchanger is very important, and it will directly affect its normal use. How to choose the material of the gasket?
(1) The plate heat exchanger sealing gasket is a circular ring made of a material that can produce plastic deformation and is of high strength. Most of the gaskets are cut from non-metallic plates or made by the factory to the specified size. The sealing gaskets of plate heat exchangers have different types of rubber, and the adaptable temperature and medium parameters are different.
(2) Nitrile rubber is generally suitable for non-sexual media such as alkanes and olefins, light and heavy fuel oil and other mineral oils, lubricating oil, animal and vegetable oil, hot water, salt water and other media with a temperature higher than -25 and lower than 110 degrees Celsius.
(3) EPDM rubber is mainly suitable for superheated water, water vapor, ozone, non-petroleum-based lubricating oil, weak acids, weak bases, ketones, alcohols and other media with a temperature higher than -50 and lower than 140 degrees Celsius.
