Internal leakage refers to the leakage of the two media in the heat exchange equipment from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure due to some reasons. This kind of leakage is generally not easy to detect in time. The main cause of such leakage in the heat exchanger is the perforation, cracks and corrosion of the plates. The method of discovering this kind of leakage is to frequently test the medium on the low pressure side and judge from the change of its composition. (1) Remove the dirt on the surface of the heat exchanger plates, wipe dry, and reassemble the heat exchanger. We conduct a water pressure test with a pressure of 0.2~0.3Mpa on one side. Stop the test after the water flows out from the other side. Open the heat exchanger and carefully observe the untested side of the plate. The wet plate is the plate with holes or cracks.
(2) The waste heat exchange plates can be detected by light transmission and coloring inspection on site. The plate heat exchanger plates and gaskets that are found to be waste should be replaced in time, and then re-assembled and used.
