Heat exchanger plate deformed
The core component heat exchanger plates of the plate heat exchanger are made of stainless steel, industrial pure titanium or other materials (typically 0.5-1.0 mm thick). Usually, the plate is pressed into various groove shapes or corrugations (type horizontal straight corrugations, herringbone corrugations, diagonal corrugations, etc.), It can increase the rigidity of the plate, prevent the deformation of the plate when it is under pressure, and enhance the turbulence and heat exchange area of the fluid. At the same time, it can withstand the pressure difference between the two sides. Since the thickness of the plate heat exchanger is thin, when the pressure of the heat exchanger changes, the shape of the plate will be affected, that is, the volume inside the heat exchanger will change slightly. The heat exchanger plate is deformed. The gasket of the plate heat exchanger slides away from the gasket groove. To deal with this misalignment, the deformed plate and the gasket sliding off the gasket groove should be replaced in time.
