A thin rectangular channel is formed between the various plates of the plate heat exchanger, and heat communication is performed through half of the plates.Plate heat exchanger is a device for liquid-liquid, liquid-vapor thermal communication. It has the characteristics of high heat exchange efficiency, small heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, convenient equipment cleaning, wide application, and long service life.The plate heat exchanger is mainly composed of a heat transfer plate, a gasket, a pressure plate at both ends, a clamping bolt, and a bracket. The functions of each part of the plate heat exchanger are as follows:
(1) The heat transfer plate is the primary heat exchange element of the heat exchanger. Usually, the plate wave is made into a herringbone wave. According to the different fluid media, the data of the heat transfer plates are also different, and most of them are made of stainless steel and titanium.
(2) The pressure plates at both ends are mainly used to clamp and hold all the heat transfer plates to ensure that the fluid medium does not leak.
(3) The sealing gasket of the plate heat exchanger mainly plays a sealing role between the heat exchange plates. The rubber pad materials commonly used in plate heat exchangers are nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, and fluorine rubber. The heat exchanger uses different rubbers according to different media.
(4) The clamping bolts are mainly used to tighten the pressure plates at both ends. The clamping bolt is usually a double-headed thread. When the bolt is pre-tightened, the torque of the fixed plate is uniform.
