(1) According to the structural plate heat exchangers can be divided into four categories: a. detachable plate heat exchanger (also known as plate heat exchanger with gasket), b. welded plate heat exchanger, c. spiral plate Heat exchanger, d. coil heat exchanger (also known as honeycomb heat exchanger). Welded plate heat exchangers are further divided into: semi-welded plate heat exchangers, all welded plate heat exchangers, plate and shell heat exchangers and brazed plate heat exchangers
(2) According to the process use: plate heater, plate cooler, plate condenser, plate preheater
(3) According to the gap size of the flow channel, it is divided into a conventional gap plate heat exchanger and a wide gap plate heat exchanger.
(4) According to whether it is a complete set of products, it can be divided into single plate heat exchangers and plate heat exchanger units.
