It can be used for 15 to 20 years under normal use. The longer the use time, the easier it is for the plates of the plate heat exchanger to be broken down?
(1) The quality of the heat exchanger. Compared with the heat exchange surface of other heat exchangers, the heat exchange surface of the plate heat exchanger is quite thin (0.5mm), and the maximum allowable corrosion rate is 0.05mm/year. Ordinary plate heat exchangers are usually made of alloy materials (304 or 316), which have corrosion resistance to a certain range of organic matter, but have weak resistance to hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid.
(2) The maintenance of plate heat exchangers. Plate heat exchanger is an important part of heat exchange technology in process industry equipment. The elastic gasket that seals between the various plate heat sinks is a vulnerable part, and it is also a part that is prone to aging under natural conditions. Its service life has an important influence on its service life. If these gaskets are hardened and lose their original elasticity, and they are not re-tightened or replaced in time, the heat exchanger may leak. After a long period of operation, it needs to be cleaned regularly, generally once every two years.
(3) The problem of heat exchanger construction. Only the "Y" type filter is installed in the plate heat exchanger system. If there is no electronic water treatment device, it is difficult to ensure that the piping system does not scale. If the "y" type filter is not cleaned up in time, it will leave small gravel in the circulating water that does not constitute a hazard, and will also cause damage to it.
