During the actual use of the plate heat exchanger, it will be affected by various reasons and reduce the heat exchange efficiency. What reasons will reduce the heat exchange efficiency?
(1) Factors of the heat exchanger machine itself. When the majority of users purchase heat exchangers, they only provide the manufacturer with the heat exchange area. Generally, there are no more specific parameters such as heat exchange quantity, fluid flow rate, and inlet and outlet temperature. The heat exchange area of the plate heat exchanger is matched, but some other processes have problems. When the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger is low, only increasing the heat exchange surface will not have much effect.
(2) Factors of heat exchanger system configuration. The plate heat exchanger is only used as a machine for heat conversion. According to the law of conservation of energy, the heat emitted from one side of the heating medium is absorbed by the cold medium. In most cases, the heat emitted from the heating medium cannot be absorbed by the cooling water at once. This will cause insufficient medium flow and insufficient water temperature, which will also cause the temperature of the heating medium to remain high.
