Plate heat exchanger types

   The types of plate heat exchangers are different and suitable for different medium, working conditions, temperature, pressure.Users are reminded to purchase various factors and rational choices when purchasing.

1.There are five main types of plate heat exchanger according to product use.

(1)Cooler: The fluid is cooled to the necessary temperature, but the cooling fluid does not undergo a phase change

(2)Preheater: Preheats the fluid to provide standard process parameters for process operation.

(3)Heater: The fluid is heated to the necessary temperature, but the heating fluid does not undergo a phase change.

(4)Superheater: Used to heat fluid (process gas or steam) to a superheated state.

(5)Evaporator: Used to heat the fluid to a temperature above the boiling point to evaporate the fluid, generally with corresponding changes.

2.There are four types of plate type heat exchanger according to the heat transfer principle.

(1)Inter-wall heat exchanger: It is a fluid with different temperatures flowing in a space separated by a wall. The heat conduction through the wall and the convection of the fluid on the wall surface, heat exchange between the two fluids, also known as surface heat exchange. It is the most widely used.

(2)Hybrid heat exchanger: A hybrid heat exchanger is a heat exchanger that exchanges heat through direct contact and mixing of cold and hot fluids, also known as a contact heat exchanger. Since the two fluids must be separated in time after mixing and heat exchange,  heat exchangers are suitable for heat exchange between gas and liquid.

(3)Regenerative heat exchanger: a heat storage body composed of solid matter transfers heat from a high temperature fluid to a low temperature fluid. After the heat medium reaches a certain temperature by heating the solid matter, the cold medium is heated by the solid matter to make it reach the purpose of heat transfer.

(4)Fluid connection indirect heat exchanger: the two surface heat exchangers are connected by a heat carrier circulating in them, the heat carrier circulates between the high temperature fluid and the low temperature fluid heat exchanger ,and accept from high temperature fluid releases heat to low temperature fluid in the low temperature heat exchanger
