The inspection during the manufacturing process of the plate heat exchanger equipment includes the inspection of raw materials, the inspection between the processes and the pressure test. The products after the quality inspection can be added to the produced production, and the plate heat exchanger can be used for quality assurance.
(1) Inspection of the dimensions and geometry of raw materials and equipment parts
(2) Chemical composition analysis, mechanical property analysis test, metallographic examination of raw materials and welds, collectively referred to as damage test
(3) Inspection of raw materials and weld internal defects, the inspection method is non-destructive testing, which includes radiation detection, ultrasonic inspection, magnetic particle inspection, penetration inspection
(4) Equipment pressure test, including hydraulic test, medium test, and airtight test
Pressure test and air tightness test: The finished heat exchanger shall be connected to the joint of the heat exchanger tube sheet, the pressure test of the tube and shell side or the air tightness test. The pressure test includes the water pressure test and the air pressure test.Plate heat exchangers are generally subjected to hydrostatic tests.For structural or support reasons, the liquid test may be used when the liquid cannot be filled or the operating conditions do not allow residual test liquid. If the medium toxicity is highly hazardous or there is no trace of leakage between the tube and the shell, the air tightness test should be added.
