Plate heat exchanger is a new type of high-efficiency heat exchange equipment, which has been widely used in many industries such as power engineering, shipbuilding, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, food and light industry. When inspecting and repairing plate heat exchangers, many customers do not know how to properly disassemble and assemble it?
(1) When removing the loose bolts of the plate heat exchanger, loosen the middle bolts first, and then to the four corners. At the beginning, repeat 1 to 2 times each time until it is completely loosened. It is required to measure the total thickness of the plate at the four corners during the relaxation process, and the deviation between left and right should not exceed 10mm, and the deviation between top and bottom should not exceed 25mm.
(2) Before disassembling the heat exchanger, use a steel ruler to measure the original thickness of the plate pack, which should be measured at the top, bottom, left, and right corners of the equipment and recorded. This thickness should be restored as much as possible when reinstalling. If you increase or decrease the number of plates, you should first calculate the correct total thickness. Plate heat exchangers are usually compressed into a whole with 6-12 bolts. During assembly and disassembly, these bolts should be tightened or loosened evenly and unevenly.
(3) The fastening bolts of the plate heat exchanger are often equipped with small flat bearings, which are installed at the bottom of the compression nut to reduce the surface friction when the bolts are tightened, so that the bolts are tightened properly. When tightening or loosening the bolt, the other end is controlled by the end cap and cannot be rotated.After the heat exchanger is disassembled, the plates should be hung on the frame of the machine body. If they need to be removed for cleaning, they should be placed on a smooth platform. Do not stack multiple plates in a pile to avoid bending and deformation of the plates. Each plate should be hung back to its original position after cleaning. After checking that all plates and gaskets are normal, tighten the bolts and reset.
(4) When tightening the bolts, the square bolts should be tightened first, and then the middle bolts should be tightened. It is required that the asymmetry deviation of the total thickness of the plate group during the tightening process does not exceed the above-mentioned value. Assembling and disassembling bolts should use a spanner of a certain length to ensure proper torque.
