Plate heat exchanger is a new type of heat exchanger material, which is formed by stacking a series of metal plates together. These metal plates have complex processes and certain corrugated shapes. The plate heat exchanger process is the heat exchange between the plates to form thin rectangular channels. The principle is based on a liquid-liquid, liquid-steam heat exchange device. The plate heat exchanger is small in size, high in durability and long in service life. The plate heat exchanger will experience aging after a period of use. How should we deal with the aging of the rubber pad?
1. The temporary treatment method of the plate heat exchanger for gasket aging. The hardening of the elastic gasket has nothing to do with pressure and temperature. When the gasket is elastic, the plate heat exchanger will leak. In order to deal with the dripping phenomenon caused by the aging of the gasket, it is allowed to tighten the bolts of the combined plate heat exchanger again, and schedule the pressing force of the elastic gasket between each heat exchanger.
2. The stress value of the plate heat exchanger is given in the complete machine diagram. When tightening this type of plate heat exchanger, the tightening torque should not be lower than the value specified in the drawing. For plate heat exchangers used in serious production equipment and corrosive media, it is recommended to have a set of spare seals. When the warehouse temperature is 18℃, the seals of the plate heat exchanger can be stored for 3 years in the transparent plastic packaging.
3. The maximum and minimum allowable stresses are given on the nameplate of the plate heat exchanger. The new plate heat exchanger fins should use the smallest allowable stress.
