How do we apply plate heat exchangers

  Plate heat exchangers are ideal equipment for liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor heat exchange. It has the characteristics of high heat exchange how do we apply plate heat exchangersefficiency, small heat loss, compact and light structure, small footprint, wide application and long service life. So how do we apply plate heat exchangers?

(1) The purchased plate heat exchanger should have a product certificate, and the clamping size should meet the nameplate requirements when assembled or reinstalled. After installation, the two sides should be staggered for water pressure test. The test pressure is 1.25 times of the design pressure, the water temperature is not less than 5'C, and it is maintained for 30 minutes. Those who check each part for no leakage are qualified.

(2) At the time of installation, the inlet and outlet should be equipped with elbows to reduce temperature stress. Pressure gauges and thermometers should be installed at the inlet and outlet of the fluid on both sides in order to observe their working conditions. The pipe network water should first enter the decontamination device when entering the heat exchange station. There should be a filter before entering the plate heat exchanger. The pipeline network should be cleaned before being put into operation. In order to facilitate the repair and adjustment of temperature and flow, the fluid on both sides of the plate heat exchanger should have bypass pipes. The heat exchange medium should be treated to prevent the heat transfer performance from dropping too fast or even clogging to work properly.

(3) The heat medium is a steam pair. First, let the cold fluid enter the heat exchanger and enter the normal circulation state before passing the steam. In case of power failure and shutdown, close the inlet valve on the hot fluid side first, and then close the valve on the cold fluid side. To prevent the heat exchanger from overheating, the steam inlet should be equipped with a solenoid valve that can automatically close.

(4) When the plate heat exchanger is stopped, the water should be drained and the clamping bolts should be loosened. Tighten it to the specified size when using it. The scale of the slab area can be cleaned with carbonic acid solution or cleaned with a brown brush, but not a steel wire brush.
