The heat exchange plate surface is pressed into a corrugated shape or a groove shape to increase th plate rigidity , increase the turbulence of the fluid, and improve the heat transfer efficiency. Its material is mostly stainless steel, copper, aluminum, aluminum alloy, titanium, nickel and so on. The corner holes at the plates act as connecting channels. The working medium flows through the narrow and tortuous channels formed between the plates to exchange heat. Since the plates are mounted upside down, thousands of contacts formed by the corrugated intersection are staggered so that the fluid wraps around the contacts, causing strong disturbances, forming a very high heat transfer coefficient, making the heat exchanger with high heat exchange efficiency and pressure capacity.
