Heat Exchanger Gasket
The heat resistance of the rubber seal of the plate heat exchanger cannot be more important than other physical properties. Therefore, the heat resistance of the rubber compound and the compression deformation property at high temperature are mainly considered in formulation. Formulation design requirements MQ gaskets are resistant to heat above 200°C. Plate heat exchanger rubber gaskets are sandwiched between side slots of two metal plates. They are static seals but differ from normal static seals. Because the temperature and pressure at the inlet of the heat exchanger are generally greater than the temperature and pressure at the outlet; when the heat exchanger starts to use, the temperature and pressure of the gasket become smaller; and the gasket expands when the temperature is high, and shrinks when the temperature is low. Therefore, the reciprocating expansion and contraction are required. Therefore, the rubber gasket is required to have good elasticity, that is, good compression deformation property and heat resistance, and good effect can be achieved.
