Heat Exchanger Gasket Styles
The plate heat exchanger is mainly composed of two parts: a frame and a plate. The periphery of the plate and the corner hole are sealed with a rubber gasket. Compared with the traditional adhesive gasket, the non-adhesive gasket is complicated, time-consuming, and convenient to assemble and disassemble. It may even affect the human health caused by adhesive and cleaning agent in the plate groove, and cause corrosion and cracking of the gasket groove. Therefore, the application of non-stick gaskets is becoming more and more widespread. In some cases, partial pasting methods can also be used. Generally, it takes only a few minutes to load (change) a gasket. The time and labor are 70%- 80% less than the adhesive gasket, which is especially convenient for on-site replacement, which greatly reduces maintenance costs and downtime losses.
