In the design of the plate heat exchanger gasket, the overall structure of the PHE plate and the sealing strength have a very close relationship.A reasonable seal structure design not only improve the stiffness of the exchanger plate and improve the plate heat exchangers pressure performance, but also ensure that good sealing. The sealing structure is composed of the plate sealing groove and the gasket. The performance of the gasket (physical properties, chemical properties and process performance), the sealing groove form and the sealing ratio of the gasket is the three major elements of the sealing design.
WTSML have three kinds of gasket type to meet the customers’ requirement.
(A) Direct glue type, the sealing gasket directly attach to the heat exchanger plate installation groove after using the sealant
(B) Rubber nail mosaic, design the hole on the heat exchanger plates, there are gasket on the edge of the gasket, put gasket into the installation groove, the plastic studs embedded in the assembly hole.
(C) Hasp type, There is "mountain" shaped buckle design in the edge of the PHE gasket, intall the hasp on the heat exchanger plates.
